I recently had to replace my roof due to hail and wind damage and researched various roofers in the Huntsville area. After meeting with David Sharp, I was convinced that Lewis & Son would do a good job on my roof and would stand behind their work. David explained the type of damage as well as the craftsmanship and materials that would be used on the new roof. He was instrumental in negotiations with the insurance agent. His knowledge and honesty sold me.

Jim Garrard walked the job with me and we discussed the planned work and areas of concern I had he assured me that It would be taken care of and he followed through till the end.

It only got better when the work crew showed up and started. Romero and his crew worked non-stop other than a short lunch break and were a great example of team work and efficiency. Romero even walked the grounds an additional half hour making sure everything was cleaned up and looking for any nails his crew may have missed. I have worked as a project manager in the construction business and have only seen one other crew that was this impressive. I am very pleased with my new roof and impressed with your company. Keep up the high standards and good work!

Kitchen ceiling fell-in, Lewis and Son 2 the rescue!

Yesterday, your crew was fantastic! My wife and I were both impressed with how fast just (2) yes two workers could remove all of the back to our roof. These two were later joined by three or four more workers in the afternoon. Even though they got a late start yesterday, (around 11:00 am), they worked until the sun went down. :-) In that amount of time they removed all of the old roof on the back of the house, removed the two passive round metal roof vents, installed new wood in place of the two round vents, repaired the water damaged wood below the old shingle roof, re-papered and re-shingled the entire back of the house.

I just had to call your office several times yesterday to complement your company, you, and your friendly, very courteous roofing crew. It is so exciting to me to finally have a new roof and this feeling of comfort and security that you and your company are providing me. Please leave the two, yes I insisted that two Lewis and Son Roofing sings be placed at both ends of my front yard. You are more than welcome to keep them in place for several weeks!! I want all of my neighbors, and a great many drive past my house several times a day every day, to see the Great New Roof and know the Best place to contact to get the job done. Your crew can even save Fuel if you like by using the air hose I Have provided from my 25 gallon air tank. It will power all three air lines they are using with very little effort and No Fuel. :-) I have offered this to your crew.The air line is sticking out from the bottom of my roll-up garage door.I have reminded, Poco that that Air Line is available for them to use whenever they need.

Well it looks like I wrote another book.Your great roofing crew should have my new roof completed today.I look forward to many years of No Leaks!

Shane and Wade, I have a follow-up to my experience with the Lewis and Son Roofing crew.After the installation of the best looking roof in my neighborhood, the installation crew led by Poco went above and beyond my expectations with cleaning up after the roof install work. Every member of Poco's crew was respectful, friendly, and understood my very paranoid concern of nails in the yard. Well, their entire crew went through all of the yard from the brick house foundation outward about 20 feet with a Super strong magnet on wheels. That is one nice tool. I plan to buy one of those magnets on wheels! I held a double bagged plastic grocery bag and followed the man with the magnet on wheels. Together we bagged what felt like twelve pounds of nails. I was additionally impressed with every aspect of the clean-up. The whole crew pitched-in and together I believe there is not any trace that the old roof existed. All of the small pieces if tar paper, shingles, green plastic washers, and Nails are gone. I mean this crew really knows how to Clean-Up after a roof installation. My wife and I are Very satisfied with the entire Lewis and Son roofing experience. Please leave the two Lewis and Son yard signs in my yard for a few weeks to let everyone that passes by our home know the best place to get a new roof. You really did, "Stop a Leak in a Creek." Our kitchen ceiling was leaking so much that it really looked like a steady flow of water. Then the surprise, a two foot by two foot section of sheet-rock fell to the kitchen floor! Now we have no worries. Lewis and Son came to our roofing rescue.Thanks, Lewis and Son -- and Thanks to your wonderful crew!

"My roof leaked over the New Year holiday weekend and I knew I had to work fast in finding someone to do the job because it was supposed to begin raining sometime Thursday, January 4th. I immediately began calling roofing contractors on Tuesday, January 2nd. I called contractors from Athens and they have yet to return my call. Your Company took my call immediately and came to give me an estimate the next day. The roofers were working on my house the next morning at approximately 8:00am, were very professional and finished around noon (plenty of time before the rain moved in). Of course the repairs were put to the test: it poured rain Thursday night into Friday and again on Sunday. There have been no signs of dampness or moisture.
